There has got to be some admirable tradition still sacred in our lives, and Texas-OU at the Cotton Bowl during the State Fair in October is the ultimate tradition. It is steeped in college football history with two respected universities that are powerhouses every year. Any change in the venue would be devastating to both universities, it's alumni and college football.

you know it is hard to say "RED RIVER RIVALRY" VERY FAST. So I think they should shorten it up to "R3" VERY SIMPLE

Home and home would completely change the game. It's almost like any other rivalry game then.

Personally I think the game ought to be played at the new Cowboys' stadium. Still a neutral site, still in DFW, and still 50/50 in the crowd. To me being at the state fair doesn't add much to the game so while losing the tradition sucks it wouldn't take anything away from the game for me.

It's an odd rivalry when there are generations of alums that have never been to the other school's campus for a game.

imagine what a home-home would do for that game.
