Augie GarridoTexas baseball coach [tag]Augie Garrido[/tag] continued to add to his historic career on Friday when he picked up his 1,600th victory against the Baylor Bears. As the winningest coach in NCAA baseball history, Garrido is of course the only coach to ever reach that number.

The win is just one more milestone in the Garrido’s legendary coaching career. Garrido’s teams have won five championships in four different decades, including two College World Series titles while at Texas. He’s also the only coach to ever win titles at two different schools.

With Garrido, Mack Brown, and Rick Barnes, the Texas Longhorns have the best trio of coaches in college sports.
