The Oklahoma Sooners lost to Boise State in historic fashion in last year’s Fiesta Bowl, and it looks like EA isn’t going to let them forget it. One of the biggest features they’re touting in NCAA Football 08 (due out in July) is all the new trick plays they’ve added to the expanded play books. To highlight the feature, they’re using a clip of Boise State using the Statue of Liberty play to beat OU as the latest trailer. See the video below:

I’m not sure how well the new trick plays will work in the game, even the simple reverses that have been in previous games didn’t work very well. Even if the plays are useless, at least it’ll make Oklahoma fans relive the game a few more times.

All they need to add is Ian Johnson’s proposal to his girlfriend and the stunned look on the faces of the OU fans!

They should make one of Colt McCoy getting Owned by A&M! LMFAO what was it, 12 to 7?

I think they should make one of Reggie Mcneal getting charged with resisting arrest after being refused entrance to a houston nightclub.

lol…but you know as good as I do that they could make a whole game of all the UT players getting arrested

Yeah Aaron but they could make 20 games with Sooners cheaters and criminals.

Dont change the subject Aaron. My comment was bilateral. In other words, you had something negative to say about our QB, I responded with a negative comment about your QB. I did not say anything about a team. Anyhow, lets get back on track. During McNeal’s four-year career at Texas A&M, the Aggies were 0-4 against rival Texas, 0-2 against Viginia Tech, 0-2 against Nebraska, 1-3 against Texas Tech, 1-3 against Oklahoma, and were invited to only one post-season bowl game. Reggie McNeal was drafted in the 6th round as a receiver. Colt McCoy will probally do a little better than that. What do you think Aaron?

Well I actually had something negative (a joke) to say about your present QB, and you responded with a comment about A&M’s past QB from the 2005 season, a little lame huh?… I dont see how involving the team your QB plays on is “changing the subject.” Was I supposed to come up with a clever come back strictly about McCoy? Did I not follow your rules? Anyway, I could care less what Reggie did (or didn’t do) b/c during his carreer at A&M they had some of the worst outings in Aggie history so I pretty much dont ever think about those years.

    So what do I think?
I think A&M has a bad ass QB who will lead them to a top 10 finish if A&M can actually do more than show up at a bowl game.

I think UT will be good too and finish high (partly due to an easy schedule). However I think the chances of the horns winning at Kyle this year are very slim.

Ok Aaron, I will be happy to compare our CURRENT QB’s. Where should we start? Statistically Colt McCoy had a better year as a Freshman than STEPHEN MCGEE as a Sophmore. There is no question who has the better arm (McCoy). McGhee can run better, but dont fool yourself into thinking he is on the same level as say Vince Young. I like both players because they are from Texas, classy, and play for Texas teams, so I have trouble insulting your current QB too much. Bottom line: Good win over Texas last year, Bad win over Army. You cant go from barely beating Army to top 10 the next year. As for schedule, we ALL have a few cup cakes.

If you go by TD’s thrown McCoy wins that battle, but alot of that has to do w/us having the J-Train. But If you look at all the other stats they are fairly close…Bottom line, they are both very talented and look like they are going to have some record setting careers in college. I like McCoy too, I do think that his receiving corp is alot more stacked than A&Ms though and has bailed him out alot more than McGee’s. No, I wouldnt compare SM to VY…b/c VY is probably the best dual threat QB to play the college game .

But are you saying we couldnt be top 10 b/c the fact that we barely beat army means we are not a good enough team or are you saying that the voters are going to take the army game from last year into consideration? B/C im not saying we would start top 10, but maybe finish top 10.

What I am saying Aaron is that I did not care for your initial comment about McCoy getting jacked up against A&M by that Kellen Heard cheap shot. I would not be proud of ANY player on ANY team for doing that. I wish to retract my statement regarding the correlation between barely beating army and finishing in the top 10.
