Congrats to him, let’s hope he’s eligible for the 80% of the games in the spring.
Looked pretty good against Dallas last night.
It was announced a couple of weeks ago but they’ve now officially unveiled the throwback uniforms the Horns will wear against Louisiana-Lafayette. The uniforms will be worn for the September 3rd home game to honor the 1963 national championship team. The burnt orange jerseys are very similar to the current ones, but with the Texas
removed from the front. The helmets add orange player numerals above the traditional longhorn logo.
I kind of wish they had decided to wear the throwbacks for the 100th Texas – OU game, but then of course we’d have to wear them forever if we win or burn them if we lost. I guess that game is special enough without any uniform changes.

Finally. Much cleaner and modern than the old design.
Notice A&M had no problems being in the academically-challenged SEC. (via)
Points out that the NCAA’s recent ruling against Indian mascots is even more ridiculous than I thought.
Apparently “Shootout” wasn’t politically correct. What a joke.
They put Texas #2. It’s a regional cover so I hope there’s no jinx.
