Yeah, he blasts it … and blames it for his team’s loss.
Sorry, but Mack lost a lot of credibility with that diatribe.

I don’t think he blames it for the loss, he just stated that it hurt their comebacks chances, which it did. Obviously if they had more time they would have had a better chance of coming back. But that isn’t what made them lose, they just lost to a better team that night.

This article and even moreso an ESPN version of it make it sound like he just now decided the rule was bad. He (and every single other person associated with college football) have been blasting the rule from the moment it was announced.
