The only big matchup this weekend is in the Big 12, with Texas and Nebraska battling it out up in Lincoln. If Texas can win this matchup they will set themselves up well to run out the rest of their games. Want to get pumped up about the Nebraska game, check out this video of the 1996 Big 12 Championship game.
One other game I am interested in is Iowa and Michigan. Iowa really dropped the ball last week losing to Indiana, but maybe that will make the Wolverines look past them and allow them to keep the game close.
Here’s how this Saturday’s games will go down:
Brian Last week: 8 – 4 Year to date: 67 – 18 |
Matt Last week: 10 – 2 Year to date: 76 – 9 |

your shameless partisanship is gonna cost you yet another loss on your “Pick the Winners” this week as A&M rolls on OSU, revealing Bobby Reid’s 411 yds passing last week was merely a fluke in an otherwise mediocre season

Just like A&M rolled Army and Kansas? I just don’t see A&M winning on the road.

Brad, you do realize Fran has only won four road games in his entire time at A&M. Zero in 2003, two in 2004, one last year, and against Kansas this year. The Aggies are probably the (slightly) better team, but I sure wouldn’t be so confident.

Five. Whew.
Also, I’m an Aggie, but I don’t think your OSU pick was “shameless partisanship”, just based on history and performance. It’s more likely that you are waiting for a good reason to pick A&M to win a road game, and that might not happen this year.

yes, i am aware of Fran’s terrible record on the road prior to this season, the reason i am so confident in this team’s ability to find ways to win on the road is because instead of seeing the final score and glancing at statistics the day after, i have been in the stands and on the sideline for our road games. I’ve been able to see the intangibles that can’t be databased and presented the next day online.
Fran is 3-0 on the road this season, i’ll help you out with your picks this week and give you a little hint: he’ll be 4-0 on Sunday.
