Former Longhorn [tag]Roy Williams[/tag] really knows how to treat the ladies. He’ll treat you to a Big Mac or if you’re a truly special woman maybe some Red Lobster.
On being cheap: I am cheap, I’m a cheap date. Get you some McDonalds, with some cheese on it and I’m just really cheap, man. I’m very low key, I like to stay home. I like to go bowling on Monday nights and I go to the casino every once and awhile. Other than that, you won’t see Mr. Williams out at all.
You do tip the pizza guy? There’s no such thing as a tip. But I am really polite and I say ‘Thank you sir.’ … The pizza man knows, when he comes to my address, he’s coming for free.
If you’re on a date and she wants to go to a nice place, what do you do? I might just take her to the casino and get her a free buffet. If I did take a date out to a nice place, I’d take her to a nice place, like a Red Lobster or something. It wouldn’t be Morton’s or nothing like that.
I love Roy. Most people don’t get him but the guy is just a character. There’s actually people on the Detroit Free Press that are taking his comments seriously. Lions fans are morons. Apparently they’re too dense to catch on even when he called Red Lobster a fancy place.

Taking a girl to the casino to get a free buffet is a great idea, I will have to remember that one…

Josh in Iraq
September 29th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
You know the last time I was deployed to Iraq I watched Vince Young run his way to a national championship. Now as I sit in Iraq ready to come home, I am wondering how many points that horrible Texas defense is going to give the Sooners next weekend. This is by far the worst Longhorns team since the Macovic era. I really think it is about time or Akina to be grabbing his stuff and walking out the door. I am absolutely embarassed to be a Horns fan right now, a loss by 20 at home, to a team they are far better than. Figure it out Mack because you know we will not stand for it.

OU did lose today to a team worse than Kansas State Josh. Team is going to play a lot of close games this year but if the line picks it up a little they’re going to win most of them. Next week will be a dog fight, hopefully Greg Davis is willing to take a few more shots downs field.

You shouldnt be embaressed, Michigan should be embarresed and norte dame, we cant win all the games we play , and upsets make college football. I do agree with our defense looking sloppy this game , and especially our offense, I hate it when they have charles running sideline to sideline, or mccoy throwing these little 5 yard catches, they go for nothing, we need to throw it further down the field, and sweed needs to catch the ball. We just need to shake this game off and play how we used to play.

i know all games cannot be won, i know that national championships do not come every year. the thing is texas barely beat arkansas state, barely beat ucf, had to come from behind against tcu. now i have yet to watch a game because we only get to watch the games that are shown over here and fsn does not really jump over espn and abc. but from what i have read, it sounds like this team is playing half assed and going through the motions, it is like this team does not care and has no heart. maybe i am wrong you guys tell me because you have seen the games, but to me it just sounds like this texas team has no heart.

No I think you are right, when I was watching the game yesterday I was thinking, it feels like we are missing team leadership and it did feel like our team lost heart for some reason. Im not saying you are wrong im just trying to look past the bad. But yes it looks like they have lost heart, except for when brandon foster started the season off, he looked amazing, and now it feels like his flame died down.

defense has stepped it up really no big plays, turnovers will kill you every time, even miore so on your side of the field 20 points off turnovers go to colt,14 points goes to special teams 7 points to the defense. these players do get paid, you can pull a struggling player like colt you don’t just give away the game when you still have a chance.coach brown was right with one thing coaches do lose games,i’m tired of hearing the excuses k-state is still k-state,41-21 in austin, should never happen.thats why we are texas and usc is usc, another embarrissing loss, and to the fans at the game you guying looked terrible biting your your nails and rubbing your faces, maybe someone should donate their tickets to me and i will show you how to cheer on a team, better yet come to houston and we will show you some noise and have a good time, and our team has never been good.i threw all my gear in the trash last night at rajin cajun and walked out with a torn t-shirt.here’s some advice put in john bench colt because he has made plenty of bad throws, coach brown quit making excuses why you got blown out in austin,k-state is k-statebir,if you want a bcs th

your team will show as much heart as your coach, coach prince looked like he wanted to win and i think his players fed off of that, taking it to the horns in every part of teh game

You are exactly right! Ron Prince was in that game too, and Mack was just clapping his hands like he always does.

i have always said that mack is not a very good coach. and this is he is making me look very very smart. but he does know how to go out there and get the big named high school players to come to the only school in tx that is worth any thing. but then again UT sells its self as well has he out stayed his welcome?
