Temple running back Lache Seastrunk (it’s pronounced “Lake”) is still just a sophomore in high school but he’s starting to blow up the Internet thanks to his highlight videos. He’s blazing fast and spends about half the video juking people out of their jock straps. Pretty incredible stuff from a kid who probably isn’t 16 yet.

Check out the videos from YouTube below:

And now another one below from TexasPreps.net:

The videos remind me of former Florida prepster Noel Devine, hopefully without the off field stuff and multiple children.

For those who are geographically challenged, Temple is just an hour away from Austin. With most of the 2009 class already wrapped up, Mack and Company have to make him a top recruiting priority now. I’d love to see some highlights of Lache wearing the burnt orange in a couple of years.

Update: Just got a text from Orangebloods that Lache would be in Austin this Sunday for a one-day camp. Fantastic news. (10:21pm)

That would be great if we got him but I think he is going to go to LSU.

Word is he’s a pretty big fan of Texas. I don’t think it’s remotely a done deal yet.

That makes me want to drive up there and meet him and convince him to come here. That Marcus Davis kid lives in league city and I live right in Dickinson, and my brother-in-laws little brother plays with Davis so I am trying to go hang out with him soon just to make sure he is 100% committed to UT and just to hang out with him. I want to be a recruiter for UT one day ( that is one of my dreams).

Ive worked security at many of Temple Highs games. This kid is unbelievable. Great role model for the youngsters and has a good head on his shoulder. I’ll ask him the next time I run across him at the school what his intentions are if any….

That is awesome you should try to convince him that UT is the way to go.

Lache’s mother and aunt were outstanding athletes at Temple High in the early 80’s. When I first seen this young man I immediately knew who his mother was. Thighs like a quater horse.

This kid was good last year but he hasnt done much at all his senior year, I think he will be a bust. But who knows. He played with his head up his butt on ESPNU, thats for sure.
