Rick Barnes is blazing the 2009 recruiting trail and is a player or the possible leader for several top national recruits. Two players rumored to be leaning to playing for the Horns are small forward [tag]Jordan Hamilton[/tag] and guard [tag]Avery Bradley[/tag].

Both players are incredible five-star prospects and they showed everybody why against FMP-Serbia this weekend. The 6-foot-7 Hamilton uses his quickhands to poke the ball use and then after leading the break dishes back to the 6-foot-3 Bradley for the facial on the Serbian player. Check out the video below:

Both guys look incredible and are reportedly Texas’ to lose. If Barnes can pull them both in they’ll team with recent commit [tag]Shawn Williams[/tag] to possibly make a deep tourney run in 2009-2010. I’m excited already.

No idea Stine, I’ll let you know if I hear anything. The new MackBrown-TexasFootball.com is awful and I hunted for awhile trying to buy individual tickets but couldn’t even find anything for home games.

also i found this which from the EPTX newspaper – i just don’t have the patience…..

The cutoff to buy season tickets (UTEP) is Aug. 15. Single-game tickets (UTEP) go on sale Aug. 18 — but that’s only for returning season ticket holders who have renewed their tickets. New season ticket holders (UTEP) can buy single-game tickets Aug. 21. The public can buy single-game tickets starting Aug. 25.

I’ve heard way too much demand for this game so i didn’t want to take the risk. Working in west Texas early 2008 i heard this game being advertised on the RADIO – 8 months before football season…
