Looks like Texas & USC in the Rose, who might the other BCS bowls pick and why?
Priest’s dad says he’s planning on coming back.
Ricky Williams, Roy Williams, Leonard Davis, [tag]Derrick Johnson[/tag], & [tag]Quentin Jammer[/tag] selected.
Thankfully last weekend Miami shut everyone up about Virginia Tech and exposed just how weak their offense really is. There are some pretty good matchups this week with LSU playing at Alabama and Auburn traveling to Georgia. Hopefully LSU can take care of Alabama so we don’t have to hear anymore about the SEC, blah, blah. Texas is 34 point favorites against Kansas, and the way Vince has been talking I think they might actually cover that number. I am looking for a 45-10 victory.
Here’s our picks for this week:
| Brian Last week: 16 – 2 Year to date: 121-30 |
Matt Last week: 15 – 3 Year to date: 117-34 |

Derke was having doubts about what his role at UT would be with the great success of the young running backs in school and the other commits from this year and chose to take a visit to Arizona. The Longhorn coaching staff warned him beforehand but he decided it was worth the chance. He took his visit and when he returned the coaches informed him that he no longer had a scholarship offer to attend and play football at the University of Texas.
Robinson is definitely a top flight running back and will probably have a lot of success for the Wildcats, but I think Longhorn fans had a good feeling that with Jamaal Charles exploding onto the scene this year that it was unlikely we’d make it to February with all three 4-star running backs. Though they’re close in ability and potential, Robinson was the lowest ranked out of him, Emmanuel Moody, and Vondrell McGee and was probably the most likely one to end up at a different position. Moody out of Coppel is probably the headliner of the group, as Rivals has him as the state’s top back and he’s right on the verge of being a 5-star player.
Of course the one recruit I’m able to go see in person and even put up a photo gallery ends up not coming to Texas.
35-1 is not bad at all. Better odds that I thought.
Augustin, who wanted to sign on his 18th birthday, completes the class.
KU sure talks a lot for 34 point underdogs.
Andy Katz is very high on the Horn’s entire recruiting class.
The guys take down Barnes’ alma mater in final exhibition game.
