UT commit Derke Robinson in the backfieldOur first exclusive gallery has been uploaded of Longhorns running back commitment Derke (pronounced Derek) Robinson. Robinson is a 4 star running back from Lewisville Hebron and I had the chance to head down the road to watch him play.

His team handled The Colony Cougars pretty easily that night through the air and with Robinson hobbled a little (looked like an ankle issue) he was given the ball sparingly. He looked great on the chances he did get but finished the night with 67 yards on only 7 carries.

  1. Derke was having doubts about what his role at UT would be with the great success of the young running backs in school and the other commits from this year and chose to take a visit to Arizona.

    Mr. Hebron

Your beloved Derke Robinson has officially thrown away his life.
Not too long ago, he was driving while intoxicated, and ran into an 18-wheeler. Two vertebrae and a promising career were broken this night, for the transfer from Arizona to Steven F. Austin.
