Wheaties

For the first time in the history of Wheaties, General Mills is going to feature a rivalry between two college football teams, the Lone Star Showdown with Texas vs. Texas A&M. The Texas Longhorns will be on one side (what should be the front) and the Texas A&M Aggies will be on the other side (the back). Each side will feature an old school looking helment as well as an image of each team’s stadium.

Is it just me or does it seem quite ironic to have “Breakfast of Champions” and Texas A&M in the same graphic? What exactly are they champions of?

You should be able to pick up your box of Wheaties today, so head to the stores get one.

“What exactly are they champions of?”

While A&M’s football team hasn’t won the conference in about 8 years, they compete with us in most other sports. I can vividly remember us winning about five games a year in the 90’s, so you can be sure the Aggies will return to contending. Taking cheap shots at them just makes you look unprofessional.

Its pretty funny looking at the number 2 comment. I dont know if he is an aggie or not, but if he is, I dont think I would be trying to show us what a&m has done in football, because we could pull up alot more than that.
