Vince Young on cover of Madden 08?I posted a story last night that Vince Young could be the next star on the cover of Madden and this morning the Tennessean confirmed it. Young’s agent Major Adams apparently can’t keep a secret and has confirmed to the paper that Vince will be on the game’s cover.

EA Sports would not confirm that Young would be on the cover. The cover athlete will be revealed officially tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where tonight’s guests include “Madden 2007 [sic] video game cover athlete (to be revealed on the show).”

In an amazing coincidence, Young’s marketing manager said that he’d be in California for the taping of tonight’s Jimmy Kimmel Live but wouldn’t give the reason for his appearance. I am reasonably confident that Vince was not just eliminated from Dancing with the Stars and is not in the band Silversun Pickups.

Congratulations are in order for Vince, and Longhorns/Titans fans can officially start worrying about the dreaded Madden Curse.

The SI cover jinx couldn’t stop him either CB.

Maybe curses and jinxes only affect mere mortals like ourselves.

Didn’t they just recently have a QB on the cover of madden 06 (Donovan McNabb)? They go by what position is gonna be upgraded (2005: Ray Lewis: Hit Stick, 2006: Donnovan McNabb:QB Vison, 2007:Shaun Alexander:Highlight Stick). Yhey should have put Steve Smith so they could upgrade the WR’s.
I just felt I shuld give my opinion on this.

Vince Young sucks he has no throwing talent from what i’ve seen …should play running back if he likes to run that much…I have never seen a highlight of him throwing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and for god’s sake can u put someone who deserves it on the cover instead of some wannabe rookie …a good choice would be….(hines ward) 😀

Glad to know that jealousy for Vince Young has spread to Pittsburgh. I bet its cold for little ben in Vince’s shadow. If you would like to see a highlight of Vince throwing the ball, google search “Vince Young PRO BOWL”

Time will tell. Wait 5 years and VY will be exposed as a flop. Mark my words. Third worst qb rating, averaged a fumble and int every game he started and threw more picks then TD’s. The whole “running quaterback” thing isnt going to work at the NFL level…ever. Guess they will put anyone on the Madden cover now…dont even have to prove yourself. Btw…Reggie Bush should have been rookie of the year. Not sure how VY got it.

  11. reply to  #11

    Brian

Probably because Vince had a much better season Tom and had a bigger impact on his team. Vince had the same amount of rushing yards and more rushing TD’s than Bush did on half as many carries. Bush’s 3.6 yards per carry was pretty mediocre.

Reggie came on late and is going to be a good player, but Young clearly had a better season last year.

  12. reply to  #12

    Tom

I guess if he were a runningback your argument would be sound. He happens to be a quarterback and lets not forget Tenn’s defense was what kept them around .500, not VY.

**BREAKING NEWS** Vince Young runs the ball sometimes instead of throwing it. You see Tom, what annoys me the most about you is that you are neither clever or original, but yet you think that you are. And while I cant control your thoughts, perhaps I can influence your emotions. For example, how do you feel when Vince Young goes 0-3 in a series, but then scrambles 40 yards to win a game? Not only does he make other defenses look silly, I bet it makes you mad. You know, because he isnt supposed to be able to do that. You are a Reggie Bush fan right Tom? Can you remember the look on his face after Vince Young dominated him in the Rose Bowl? Oh yeah, I almost forgot Tom, I love it that everytime you want to play Madden, you have to look at Vince Youngs face! Hahahaha

Vince Young, gimme a break. He is no where near Magic Johnson of the NFL. Nor is Matt Leinart the Bird of the NFL. The two players better just worry about having a starting job with their respective teams. I can throw more touchdowns than Young, even if I couldn’t throw more touchdowns I couldn’t certainly throw less interceptions. Vince Young is just the next bust. His days are numbered, him and David Carr can to get a cup of coffe together.

  18. reply to  #18

    charles_mailloux

Oh yeah, I wouldn’t bust on Big Ben, his rookie season was one of the best ever, if not the best. Vince Young wasn’t worthy to wash Big Bens’ jock strap his rookie season. Vince Young only runs for touchdowns, because he knows if he throws the balls someone is going to intercept that wounded duck.

The Tennessee Titans win 70% of their games with Vince Young as the starter.

  20. reply to  #20

    charles

Yeah, so that tells me a lot about the Titans surrounding the horrible quarterback. Just look at Vince Young stats this year, 5 touchdowns 12 interceptions. Jay Cutler is the real quarterback. Just watched Monday night game against Denver, guess it might be 69% of the games now. The rest of the Titans couldn’t save Vince this time.

  21. reply to  #21

    Brian

Did you really make this comment right after the Monday night game where Vince had a hell of a game and if his wide receivers didn’t suck would have thrown for 350+ yards and 3 touchdowns? Oh and he ran for another 70 yards an a score.

Yikes. Someone’s football IQ is scary low.

  22. reply to  #22

    Josh

Vince will have a Super Bowl trophy in 5 years. The biggest thing he has against him right now is that he really does not have a whole lot of talent around him. I lost count of how many dropped balls his receivers had Monday night, two of which were most likely touchdowns. Lendell White will be a good 3rd down back, but he will never be a running back that you can rely on. Vince will probably never put up hall of fame numbers, but he does one thing better than anybody. He wins, and he makes the players around him better. Unfortunately in the NFL that does not always turn into “W”. If Tennessee does better in the draft and can get some good support players, they will be one of the teams to beat. Also do not forget that the Titans did have one of the better defenses in the league until Monday night. But do not talk smack about Vince, he may be know for those feet and legs, but some of the passes he makes are just downright amazing. If anyone that wants to challenge me on this. Just remember Brett Favre started the same way, now he is going to retire in the top 3 of greatest Quarterbacks of all time. If you do not believe me you can look up Favre’s stats those first couple of years and see how bad his touchdown/interception ratio was. When all is said and done, Vince may not be the best Quarterback of all time, but he will go down as the best athlete and i have no doubt a winner.

Oh yea for Jay Cutler, it is not exactly time to jump on the band wagon yet. He has been very inconsistent since taking over and Denver has a very good receiving corp.

  24. reply to  #24

    charles

Jump on the band wagon, I knew Cutler was the real quarterback in the draft. Plus when has a black scrambling quarterback ever been a legend. Randall Cunningham=maybe. Donovan McNabb=probably not. Vick=I won’t touch that one. Vince Young=bust. I am a New England Fan, not a Denver fan. Oh, and if anyone should be compared to Farve it’s Culter. 5 touchdowns, 13 int. updated. Titans lose 68%.

  25. reply to  #25

    charles

You know what I was just looking at Brett Farve’s Stats. First year excluded cause he only played two games in Atlanta. 1992=18td/13int, 1993=19td/24int, 1994=33td/14int. Those would be the first few years. You must be talking about 1993 and I really don’t think Vince Young is going to throw 19td’s. Although he may reach 24 interceptions. Get your facts straight.

  26. reply to  #26

    charles

Let’s not try to count would have been yards and would have been touchdowns. I almost threw for 30 touchdowns in 2005, but I wasn’t in the NFL and I never played football in High School. Hey look, I can do it too. Hey, I have a question, how many touchdowns would Vince Young throw this year if he didn’t suck.

  27. reply to  #27

    Josh

hey charles, what you threw for 30 touchdowns on madden, good for you buddy. how can cutler even be compared to favre. and if you knew how to pull your head out gay new england ass and read, i was not comparing vince young to favre. i was showing that favre struggled with throwing more int’s the first couple of seasons than td’s. and he did have those problems a first couple of years at green bay. i know you probably have the snotty new england attitude that all you people have in the northeast, but it is just to show you are all fags, why don’t you stick with a sport you know like. lacrosse or field hockey. that is about the only thing the northeast has ever given sports wise. the next thing you are going to tell me, is that doug flutie was a great nfl quarterback to. just goes to show you can win a heisman on one play or in reggie bush’s case one game.

  28. reply to  #28

    Josh

oh yeah charles, if you really would have gone at looked at his stats. you would have noticed to there were a couple of seasons after those 3 straight mvp’s he had that he threw more int’s. oh yeah and favre does hold the all time record for most interceptions to go along with his all-time td’s. so why don’t you just pay attention to the pats, stay off a texas website you new england homo, and give vince more than one year to prove he can play. oh yeah if you look at the all world peyton manning, he threw more int’s. in his first year to. now i am going to look at your boyfriend tom brady and see what he has done. well look like your buddy has never had that problem. why don’t you just shut up and give vince a chance, if he busts he busts. it is not like you turn on espn and have to listen about vince, you know you have to listen about the patriots, which you are probably a band wagon fan anyways.

Oh boy, somebody hates the truth. Yeah we are hurting for champions up here in Mass. The Pats, Celtics, and Red Sox are horrible. Enough said. Now back to Farve lets look at the next three season’s after the previously mentioned seasons. 1995=38td, 13int 1996=39td, 13int 1997=35td, 16int. At this point he is no longer early in his career. Thus your compare him to Vince Young, but Farves interception problems came later in his career. In turn, your wrong. Oh I see you want to compare him to Peyton Manning now, because you were wrong about Farve. Go ahead and look at Brady’s stats you will be very impressed, that’s a real quarterback. You know what you can do is take vince youngs’ picture and paste Brady’s stats to it. That will give you something to be happy with, FAG. The reason you turn on ESPN and here about the Patriots is because ESPN was smart enough to realize Vince Young isn’t any good. Oh yeah Chris you know what my favorite part was when you mentioned that you like hearing some be called a “homo”. Sorry to dissapoint you Chris, I like women.

wow charles, that is your awesome comeback. basketball was invented in springfield, mass. woo hoo! i can sleep now. why is someone from new england coming on a longhorns website? did you wanna see how sports was perfected. just to let you know texas is not exactly short on championships. cowboys have 5 super bowls, most in the nfl (along with the 49ers and steelers) lets see ut has 4 football national championships. second most appearances in bowl games, second most victories in bowl games, and the third winningest football team in college football history. the ut baseball team has 6 national championships second most in ncaa history, should i keep going on with the swim teams and so forth. hey boston college has hockey though. good for you. and as i recall boston was pretty much the most miserable sports city until what 5 years ago. wow you actually said the celtics, they have not done anything in 20 years, and were any of us alive the last time the bruins were anything. all of a sudden tom brady shows up and mass. thinks they are the sports capital of the u.s. let me tell you something buddy. if it were not for texas you would not have some of the best athletes to ever grace this planet. and if you do not believe me, about 6 years ago sports illustrated ranked all 50 states with the best athletes of all time, oh and suprise texas was #2, but hey at least you guys gave flutie, and you have your one little play in college football history. when you have the sports history that the state of texas has come call me. the only thing mass. has is the red sox and the celtics of the 50’s and 60’s. oh yeah, the cowboys were the first ones to win 3 super bowls in 4 years not the pats. now for the vy thing. for the third time now, i am not comparing him to favre. i was trying to tell you that even the great quarterbacks struggle. but you want to be such a fag, with brady you are an idiot and do not know anything about sports. oh yeah that speedy receiver you have named welker played his college football in texas, maybe not at ut, but he played his football here, and yest i know he grew up in oklahoma, before you try to throw that one in. charles do yourself a favor and give up on this, you are not going to win, and should probably stay off this website, we do not like whiny, tea drinking, crouqet playing, nothing to provide anything athletically except lacrosse players, homos. take care, bye bye.

  33. reply to  #33

    Josh

oh yeah, did you tell tom you are cheating on him with jay cutler. you said he is a real quarterback, he must satisfy you real good buddy. man o man, i hope for you boys brady never gets hurt, because there goes your whole team. one thing to, of those pro sports teams you have, how many of those guys are actually from mass, in fact what great athletes, has mass. ever produced. just a few from texas if you are wondering. lance armstrong, michael johnson, earl campbell, mean joe greene, the list goes on forever buddy. those are just some that come off the top of my head charles. oh yeah here is a biggie for you remember that guy that use to pitch for the red sox, but won a world series with the yankees, oh what’s his name i cannot remember. oh yeah roger clemens, so two of the greatest pitchers of all time nolan ryan and roger clemens. man you really should look that up. but hey at least you threw for you 3 touchdowns on madden, good for you.

to all the actual longhorn fans on this site, i want to apologize. i know it is stupid to get in a argument, especially on the computer with somebody. i am just tired of opposing fans or even people that want to come on here and talk trash and do not even want to give people a chance. i know we all think the world of vince and we will still think the world of him if he does turn out to be a in the nfl. i know vince is having a tough season and his stats do suck. we all know they do, but this is only his second season in the nfl. look at how many chances ryan leaf and lawrence phillips got before everyone gave up on them. i know people are going to call vince a bust, but when people come on a known longhorns website to talk trash, just to be an ass, well then they deserve to be talked to like charles. one more point i wanna make. about 7 years ago, i read brett favre’s autobiography and in the first two seasons holmgren was ready to bench favre and get ready with him, but he stayed with him and look how that all turned out. give vince some chances and we all can see how that turns out.

  36. reply to  #36

    Charles

Your own Texas Fan admitted Vince Young Sucks, I think my job here is done. Yeah the Celtics have the most championships in a row ever, any sport, I repeat, ANY SPORT. Yeah and Brady will have the season record for touchdowns soon, along with Moss for recieving touchdowns. Welker only has the stats he has because of Moss, Stallworth, and Watson. Welker is just the next Brandon Stokley, ship him to Denver too. Just remeber me when the Patriots win the championship AGAIN, this year. Wear your ga y A ss Longhorns jersey or Vince Young jersey when you watch the game. Oh, yeah and the reason the Boston is the sports capitol. Let’s see The Red Sox=currently champions. Celtics=no franchise compares to the Celtics, they have to win what eleven, twelve titles in a row. Patriots=16-0. You Texas F AGS are just jealous cause you need 20 pro teams across texas to be succesfull. Try just picking a city. Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and where ever else you FA Gs need to stick a team to have some championships. One city, one champion, Boston. No Texas city compares. Enjoy enduring all the Patriots hype for the rest of the season. Hey if I have put up with Friday Night Lights, that horrible tv show and movie, about a bunch of white texas fa gs who will probably end up being wife beaters, then you can put up with the Patriots stomping every team in the NFL. I think the rest of your sports teams should follow The Titans out that sorry state.
    Troy Aikman=Oklahoma & UCLA
    Emmitt Smith= Flordia
    Michael Irvin=Miami
    Tim Duncan=Wake Forest
    Manu Ginobili= Argentina
    Tony Parker=France
    David Robinson=Key West, FL
    Warren Moon=Washington
    Tony Dorsett=Pittsburgh
    Roger Staubach=Cincinnati, Ohio
None of them are from Texas or went to college in Texas. You keep bringing up Doug Flutie, well looks like Vince Young is Texas’ Doug Flutie. HA HA HA, looks like I ripped you one.

Yeah, OK, one game he actually threw a touchdown more than he threw an interception, and against the Texans. After two loses in a row all it took was a sorry as team from Texas. Just further proves my point. Vince Young is still the most overrated athlete to grace the planet.

    Micheal

VY??? he is the second worst quarterback in the league…. he can’t pass the ball, he can’t read the defenses…. he has 3x’s the interceptions vs td’s, and he fumbles religiously. His qb rating isn’t even over 70…. As a Texas alum I can see sticking up for the guy, but good grief how bad does he have to be? The Titans are winning in spite of VY not because of him. THe Titans have a great D and a decent running attack…. But if they have to pass to get back in a game they are screwed. His stupidity almost put the Texans back in the game with his interception… and good grief we are talking about the TEXANS!

  42. reply to  #42

    Brian

Michael apparently doesn’t watch much football. Vince has been very good the last four weeks now that Norm Chow and the Titans’ coaching staff actually decided to let him play. He’s throwing too many interceptions but he’d have a lot more TD’s and yards if his receivers could catch.

And might want to check your facts, their rushing attack hasn’t been good and certainly hasn’t been consistent at all the last four weeks.

His interception against the Texans was a big mistake but it wasn’t stupidity, he had a guy open but overthrew the ball because he rushed it after slipping and falling.

  43. reply to  #43

    Micheal

“His interception against the Texans was a big mistake but it wasn’t stupidity, he had a guy open but overthrew the ball because he rushed it after slipping and falling.”

That is the point you are up big… the only thing that will hurt you is if you turn the ball over….. VY hurled it down field and it was picked… hence STUPID decision. Hence his wonderlic test is correct… he has no brain.

They been playing good the last 4 weeks….. PAHHHAAAHHHaaa 1-3. That is a wonderful record that everyone should strive for. Also their opponnents included in that 4 game mega performance. Cinci, Denver, Houston…… Three of the worst teams in Football. WOW and they lost to all but ONE…..
And you say I don’t watch football?
Also the run might be successful if … and I am just reaching here. The damn quarterback could pass. Instead of having teams key solely on the run.
But your right blame the recievers…..they are the reason for his picks…..
And you can ride the VY ship to mediocrity…. he should be reciever but he is not even close to being a quarterback.

  44. reply to  #44

    Brian

It wasn’t a stupid decision, sorry you’re way off. You don’t not throw to an open man 20 yards down field just because you’re winning by 11 with nearly a quarter to go.

And I said Vince had been playing well the last four weeks, the defense had been awful without Haynesworth. And that was despite how many balls his receivers have dropped, enough that ESPN’s Steve Young and compadre spent 10 minutes discussing the drops after the Titans’ Monday night game against Denver. But I’m sure you weren’t watching.

Vince’s last four games he’s passed 257 yards (59% completion), 305 yards (63% completion with literally 8 dropped balls two of which were long TDs), 246 yards (61%), and against the Texans 248 yards (68%). And he was the team’s leading rusher in two of those games.

Seriously dude, you’re making yourself look like a fool.

  45. reply to  #45

    charles

Hey did you mention his four touchdowns/ six interceptions, dude seriously, give it up. Maybe they should move him to runningback, because he will never be a good quarterback, nevermind a great one. Oh yeah, Reggie Bush ****** sucks too. Last 4 games 44 carries 147 yards and a touchdown, 23 catches 140 yards and no touchdowns. Glad to hear he ****** up his knee, the Saints should be thankful.

Hey look what is on the Titans yahoo team page=

Vince Young gets much of the credit when the Tennessee Titans win and the brunt of the blame when they lose. But it’s Albert Haynesworth who is emerging as the team’s true difference maker – when he’s been healthy.

The Titans (7-5) look to build on their first victory in four games – which came in Haynesworth’s return from a hamstring injury – and stay near the front of the pack for a wild-card berth when they host the AFC West-leading San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

(He can only fake being a quarterback for so long, people will figure it out.)

  48. reply to  #48

    Brian

There’s nothing wrong with the first four numbers. Nothing wrong with 62% completion percentage, Peyton Manning’s season completion percentage is 63%. He had another solid game (not many attempts in second half because they were trying to milk the clock) and made two very bad passes for the two interceptions. Good play mixed in with too many mistakes, about what you’d expect out a second year, 24-year-old starting NFL QB.

Seriously dude, unless you actually watch the game and want to have an intelligent discussion why don’t you go away. Your penis envy of Young is pretty sad.

  51. reply to  #51

charles, why do you seriously keep coming back on here. are you, so envious that you want to be a longhorns fan, so bad. man you better hope that your boyfriend does not get hurt or have a bad game because it will be coming down on you, and i can promise you that you will never hear the end of it. trust me, your pretty boy qb has not played a bad game this season, and i know it will eventually come, hopefully in the playoffs.

Week 14 (SDG) 1 38.1 QB rating against the Chargers… two more interceptions… no touchdowns. But hey he didn’t fumble the ball this game! His defense garnered 3 interceptions… and he still couldn’t win.
So I guess his great 4 game streak is over. Although I fail to see any greatness in it. The only common denominator in the games was that the teams he performed well against all had losing records.
So here we are against San Diego, a team with a winning record, and he is back to being a bum….

    Josh

charles why do you keep bringing up jay cutler. wow he had a 4 touchdown game. lets see though, oh that’s right the titans are still 7-6 while the broncos are 6-7. also didn’t the broncos lose two games this year by like more than 40 points. if you want to talk about brady go ahead, i will give the man his due because he has had a great season and career, but cutler has done nothing yet to show me he is the next great thing, but not by any means am i calling him a bust. but just because vy did not follow up on his rookie of the year campaign and yeah he is having a bad year, you are ready to call him a bust. that is what pisses me off the most about you, you are not giving vince a chance at all, now i will admit if vince has another season next year like he did this year, then i will say he should probably think about moving to receiver. but i know to, if vince who could get a coach that would let him run loose, i guarantee, the titans would be a lot better off. history has proved that, once mack let vince do his thing, well the rest is history. seriously back off vince, if he has another season like this next year. then i will be the first one to tell him to move to receiver.

  59. reply to  #59

    Micheal

This isn’t college football. VY did fine running against college teams. But in the pro’s the linebackers are just as fast as he is. Considering his lack of throwing ability.. they can lay in a zone with a couple spy’s on him and he isn’t going to run anywhere.
Micheal Vick was/is an awesome runner… he almost got his leg snapped off. This isn’t college football. That is why you don’t see an option offense. The DB’s and DE’s contain and persue at a completely different level. They can let VY run around all they want. The end result will be the Titans winning games over porous defenses, but they will never defeat the stronger division teams. VY’s only hope is to become a quarterback… ie read the defense and pass the ball. He might make a good receiver but who knows if he can catch the ball?

    Josh

you do not understand what i am trying to say. i am not talking about running an option, zone option, or spread offense. i am saying that they cannot let him sit in the pocket. he throws much better outside the pocket. if they would let him move out, and get in his comfort zone, he would do a lot better. and trust me, i know linebackers in the pro are faster, but they are not faster than db’s in college and i know vince would have no problem outrunning a lb. they just need to let vince play and not try to control him. if they let him do that, and he still struggles then i will be the first to admit i was wrong, but until they let him. i will not admit anything.

  61. reply to  #61

    charles

Yeah, I would like to see Vince Young when it is handed off to him. First off he is way to big to be a running back. He’ll be broken in a month, look at Brandon Jacobs. Oh, and who was the last college quarterback to make the transition to wide receiver. That’s right Matt Jones, how’s he doing. Quarterback’s that run only run because they really can’t throw the ball, Cunningham came around, hopefully Young will too. Vick is an the exception, that guy is super fast, much faster than Young. However, Young does throw the ball much, much, much better than Vick.
Oh yeah, Jay Cutler is the real deal whether you like it or not. I seen a pass he threw last year, had to be like sixty yards to Javon Walker, Culter might as well handed it off to Walker at the one yard line. Have you seen Culter throw on the run, he would take Vince Youngs’ head off throwing across his body. A young Brett Farve at the least.

  62. reply to  #62

    Josh

there is no way vick is faster than young in pure speed. vick is quicker, and more agile, but when it comes down to it, when vince runs with that long stride, he makes people look like they are standing still. i honestly could see vince being another randy moss. he definitely has a lot more size and the speed is there. or even a david boston who really was a damn good receiver, but just had all those injuries.

  63. reply to  #63

    Josh

espn.com just settled this entire argument for every single person that defends and is agains vince young. they rated all 64 quaterbacks, 1-64 in the nfl, and gave reason why they are rated. vince came in at #15 and is ranked ahead of some good qb’s. yes charles jay cutler is ranked #11, i do not totally agree, but do not totally disagree with that either. they even talked about why vince is stuggling this year, and the problem is pretty much blame on the o coordinators shoulders. just like i said earlier, they are not letting him use his strengths to play his game, like they did last year. i think that pretty much settles this whole thing.

  64. reply to  #64

    Micheal

Pundits still love VY, though more and more are falling off the wagon. I watched a couple of programs and there was only one in four that were still defending him.
Look, you can let him get out of the pocket all you want… people are defending him that way, they are defending him down field and daring him to pass and run. The DB’s in college for the most part are horrible. Linebackers in the pros do a better job pass protecting than the college db’s do. How many times do you watch a college game and see DB’s that just face guard and never turn around to look for the ball?
Vick is a hell of a runner, and while he may not be as fast a VY he moves alot better. Vick learned quick that he won’t be able to carry his team to a championship with his legs. Especially after one of those said legs got broken.
VY reminds me alot of Randall Cunningham. I used to say of Randall that he had a multi-million dollar body with a ten cent head. It took a years for RC to mature into a decent QB. VY needs to ride the pine and learn an offense before he is thrust into a game with all the expectations. BY his own interviews he is very frustrated, that will just lead him down the same road the Eli, Leftwich, Harrington, Lienert…. They put young qb’s into a starting position before they were ready. And all those prolific college QB’s suck. It will be interesting to see which of them are still around…
I think VY would be an excellent reciever (if he can catch), I don’t think he would be a good back though. The real question is can his ego (which is huge) handle the switch. I would probably lean towards no.

  65. reply to  #65

    chris

Micheal, it would not suprise me at all that a person who considers his/her self a “pundit” of anything would have issues with loyalty. Vince Young will ALWAYS have the full support of all true Texas fans no matter how his career plays out. This is what you and your northern friends call “ignorance”, but we Texans call “Faith”.

  66. reply to  #66

    charles

Don’t give me that faith bull. Your ignorance comes from the fact you talk about him as though he is some football god at quarterback, when he can’t even play the position. Support him all you want in your faith, but he stinks at quarterback….

  67. reply to  #67

    charles

Oh yeah, Vince Young faster than Michael Vick, I throw the bull _ _ _ _ flag on that one. Lets compare 40 time shall we. Vince Young= 4.48 Vick= 4.30. Vince Young may have longer stride, but Vick is faster and 15 lbs. lighter of a person. Nope, not true.

  68. reply to  #68

    charles

Doesn’t really matter though cause Vick is in prison now and will probably never walk the same, never mind run, when he gets out.

  69. reply to  #69

    Josh

you can throw the 40 time out there all you want. but all football players or all athletes know. that when it comes down to the game. i promise you vy outruns vick. vick never made anyone look like they are standing still when he ran past them, he broke some ankles, but when vy runs in a game, people look like they are wearing cement shoes. how about this vy’s game speed is faster than vick’s.

  70. reply to  #70

    charles

Game speed? Yeah Young is faster than Vick. I am not even going waste my time further with the idea. Oh yeah, 4.25 I was the correct forty time for Vick, my bad.

  71. reply to  #71

    charles

This is what I mean by ignorance.

  72. reply to  #72

    charles

I am going to waste my time. Ok Mr. Athlete, Mr. Game Speed. Look at the average yards per a rush attempt, which Vince has a vast advantage over Vick because everyone knows who is going to run. Vick has a higher per rush attempt, which would be during the game.

  73. reply to  #73

    Josh

what you just said absolutely makes no sense. try thinking about what you want to say and send it again.

  74. reply to  #74

    Josh

also, when was the last time a 40 time made a big deal in a game. you know the cowboys tight end jason witten, i guarantee his 40 time is not the greatest because he is well a tight end. but i have in person watched him outrun nfl defensive backs to the end zone. i do not mean just outrun, but actually pull away from them. i would put money on it that those guys 40’s were faster, but jason witten has great game speed. charles we can do this forever, you have yet to prove a single thing to me. also you keep talking about jay cutler, but the broncos lost to the texans who are in a better playoff position that the broncos, the same team vy beat a couple of weeks ago, that you were knocking. seriously you have not made any points, but trying to use stats. remember that guys joe namath, look at how horrile his stats were, he threw like twice as many int’s compared to td’s and yet the man is sitting in the hall of fame. quit using stats and make a valid point why vy sucks as a qb.

  75. reply to  #75

    charles

Statistics are a valid point, I don’t know how you idiots in Texas judge talent. Perhaps that is why Vince is so overated. I think you need read what I said again, because it makes perfect sense. Shouldn’t Vince’s per yards attempt be higher if made everyone look like they were wearing cement shoes. Or is that something only your television does.

  76. reply to  #76

    charles

Ya know this is a waste of my time, Vince Young is the biggest JOKE in sports history, another black quarterback bust Period.

  77. reply to  #77

    Josh

well i guess we will wait and see, i am putting my money on vy, once in a great while does an athlete like him come along. i don’t know how do we judge football talent? only some of the greatest athletes of all time have come from texas. also texas has more football talent than any other state every year. if you do not believe that then here is a stat for you. more division 1 football recruits come out of texas than any other state, and that includes california and florida. so i think we are pretty good judges of football talent.

  78. reply to  #78

    Josh

you know what is a joke? massachusetts athletics. name me one good athlete that ever came out of the state that allows gay marriages, that is not name doug flutie? when your state gives earl campbell, doak walker, sammy baugh, davey o’brien, that is not even the tip of talent that has come out of texas, and those are just some football players. how about eric dickerson, or even a running back that helped take the patriots to a whooping in the super bowl against the bears named craig james. give me a list of athletes like that and i will shut-up. you are talking to the experts about football. i am never or would any texan listen to a bostonian or bostonite about football.

  79. reply to  #79

    Game Ball Award

Vince Young is the Greatest QB to ever play the game.

  80. reply to  #80

    Josh

oh yeah charles if you want more current football players that have come out of the state of texas. how about probably the best running back in the league oh, ladanian tomlinson, maybe a guy that was the best running back in the league until a severe neck injury ended his career, priest holmes. and even though he played at oklahoma, he still grew up in texas. a guy that is probably going to win rookie of the year. adrian peterson. so that means in back to back years a guy from the state of texas is going to win rookie of the year. do not ever, ever question a texan on football, we are the experts. not people from boston. i guess i should expect you not to give vy a chance. i mean, one of your guys has a bad game you ban him from the city for life (bill buckner) or fire him for maybe leaving a pitcher in to long. people in boston are the worst fans, when for how much losing you guys have had to deal with over ya’lls history with the exception of the celtics, you should probably be a little more compassionate, but no just like a true boston sports fan, if they do not produce right away you are ready to get rid of them. you might as well get use to vy being around for awhile. because even if he is a bust, look at all the chances that ryan leaf got, lawrence phillips got, and the list could go on with the bust list. hey speaking of busts, whatever happened to that supposed awesome defensive end from boston college that got drafted 2-3 years ago. yeah he was suppose to be like the next jason taylor. is he even still playing? but i know vince will not be a bust, hopefully chow takes the ucla job if he hasn’t already and put an o-coordinator in at the titans that will let vy play his game.

  81. reply to  #81

    charles

Yeah, you are right! What does massachusetts know about football. The Patriots get beat every week, I can’t stand to watch them play. What’s there record now, 0-13 0-14. Losers. At least you are smart enought to leave the Celtics alone. The Celtics could lose every year for rest of their time and still be the greatest NBA Franchise ever. When the Patriots go undefeated this year and yes, they are going to go undefeated. You won’t be able to bust on them either, doesn’t it hurt. That the greatest feats in sports belong to the Northeast. Oh yeah, Tom Brady is the greatest Quarterback to every play the game. Tell me he isn’t. HA HA HA

  82. reply to  #82

    charles

Like I made the point earlier=
    Troy Aikman=Oklahoma & UCLA
    Emmitt Smith= Flordia
    Michael Irvin=Miami
    Tim Duncan=Wake Forest
    Manu Ginobili= Argentina
    Tony Parker=France
    David Robinson=Key West, FL
    Warren Moon=Washington
    Tony Dorsett=Pittsburgh
    Roger Staubach=Cincinnati, Ohio
But I am sure you will boast there accomplishments as a Texan.

  83. reply to  #83

    Josh

charles, i asked you to name me a athletes from mass, obviously you could not do it because there are none. yeah those guys you named made careers playing for texas teams, but are not from texas. the guys i named are all from texas, all played professional sports outside the state, but grew up and are from texas. why did you name manu ginobli, who cares about that guy. also how come vy had a better day than your boyfriend brady today huh? i thought vince was a bust, but oh he had a better day than your boyfriend. oh yeah i do not boast any of those guys accomplishments as texans, because they are not texans. all the guys i named are texans. i am still waiting for you to name me great all-time athletes from mass. and yes the celtics have sucked since the late 80’s. the patriots were not even on boston’s radar until bledsoe got hurt and brady took over. you boston people are such band wagon jumpers. oh yeah new england will not go undefeated. they will probably make it out of the regular season. i am waiting for them to play bad, and i will come in the playoffs and lose. you know what would be hilarious. is if the titans played the patriots and we watch vy run circles around all those old men on the defensive side of the ball. but please name me someone from boston who is not doug flutie, please, you have yet to do it. which makes me wonder if that person exsists.

  84. reply to  #84

    Josh

tom brady is not the greatest qb ever. the only reason why he is even having the year he is, is because of 3 guys. moss, welker, stallworth. i think a guy named joe montana might have something to say about it. maybe brett favre, i don’t know. i never claimed vy is the greatest nor do i think he will be the greatest, but i think he will be a hall of famer if he ever gets some good receivers, and a better running back.

  85. reply to  #85

    charles

Ya know all those Texas born athletes are smart enough to get out of that sorry state, so who cares if they were cursed by being born in Texas. Hey, guess who’s 14-0 and on their way to becoming the greatest NFL team in history. That’s right the Patriots. Hey Vince Young threw two touchdowns today with no picks, but it was against the Chiefs. Had your hopes up there for a minute didn’t I? Who was the runningback for Texas when Vince Young was in college?

  86. reply to  #86

    charles

Oh yeah, Brady is having the year he i having because he is the best quarterback in the NFL. Stallworth isn’t doing much, who was Welker before Brady started throwing to him, and Moss, OK i will give you Moss. If anything it’s the offensive line you dip s hit. So do you think Vince Young could throw for 45 touchdowns if he had New England’s receivers, who care he doesn’t, they are New Englands’ receivers deal with it. HA HA HA

  87. reply to  #87

    charles

Hey Josh, I have stat for you, have the Dallas Cowboys ever went 14-0 to start a regular season, how about the Houston Oilers, how about the Houston Texans . Doesn’t that suck, you would figure such a tough Football state would have had an NFL team start 14-0 considering you have two teams in the NFL. Maybe you need a third. Losers. How many of those Patriots where born in Texas, it doesn’t matter how many were born in Texas. If you smell what the Patriots are cooking? Undefeated.

  88. reply to  #88

    charles

Oh yeah Vince had much better day than Brady, how many touchdowns does Vince have on the season, how many interceptions. Don’t bother with that one idiot. Plus 14-0 is a better day mo ron.

hey charles do the patriots have 5 super bowls? also the cowboys were the first team to win 3 super bowls in 4 years. how is that stat for you. also the cowboys have been to more super bowls than any other nfl team in history. also i could give 2 sh!ts about any houston franchise. i am not a bandwagon jumper and just root for any team in texas. i root for dallas teams and the longhorns. why are you calling me the assclown? mass. is the one that allows gay marriages, you c*ocksucker! once again you got beat down biotch!

  94. reply to  #94

charles give it up, you are not going to beat me. i am better than you, always have been and always will be.

  95. reply to  #95

    charles

Beat you, I’ve already won. I will not return to post until the Patriots have gone undefeated for the season and become the best team ever assembled in NFL history. They are already better than any Dallas team in history, too bad. Then I will poison the sorry Texas website with the Patriots final season record. You better pray somebody stops the Patriots Josh, but deep inside you already know they can’t be stopped. Oh yeah Vince Young sucks and the Titans won’t make the playoffs.

  96. reply to  #96

    charles

The most accurate arm in the NFL, you have got to be kidding me. He hasn’t even thrown more touchdowns than interceptions, wow, so accurate. Hey Josh, keep Texas idiots like Chris from making comments please.

all i know is charles, you better pray to the football gods that the patriots win it all. the pats have yet to play a bad game, and that is not good because you always have to play that bad game. i honestly can see the pats being the same team as the seattle mariners from i think ’02. you remember they tied the cubs for most wins in a regular season 116, and did not even make it out of the alcs. all i know is that pats defense is suspect, especially the fun defense. i would love to see what LT would do to those guys. i am done with this. i am going to sit back and watch what happens. you just better hope the pats don’t choke. also there is no way any pats team is better than staubach, dorsett, pearson, and that doomsday defense. your ’07 pats are not even close to what ’72 dolphins had. back then there was no such thing as free agency, one team could not just dominate like that because the teams were actually more equal, which meant even the bad ones had a fighting chance. i guess we will just wait and see buddy. all i know is if the titans make the playoffs and play the pats and win, you will never hear the end of it buddy, and do not say it won’t happen, because in the nfl anything can happen, if not there would be a lot more undefeated teams that just the dolphins.

    Predictions:

1.Vince Young and the Tennessee Titans will beat the Colts to earn a playoff spot.

2.The Titans will go on to defeat the Patriots in the playoffs.

3.Vince Young will be the star of both games.

  102. reply to  #102

    charles

Just accept it, the Patriots are going 16-0 and they are better than any Dallas team in HISTORY. No Dallas team has gone 15-0 period…….. I am done with Vince Young, the guy stinks look at his quarterback rating, enough said. I don’t need to hope Josh, the Patriots are the best this year. Dallas better. The Patriots aren’t tying any team moron, they are making history. So compare them to someone else. Oh yeah, there is nobody to compare them to, sorry.

    Predictions:

Vince Young will make the Pro Bowl.

Vince Young will get into the football Hall of Fame.

Vince Young will be starting quarterback of the Titans at the end of next season.

There are three more crazy predictions.

  104. reply to  #104

    charles

Oh yeah, with all the great athletes that come from a state 5 times the size of Massachusetts How does make you feel that no Texas franchise compares to the Patriots of this year. Doomsdays defense, did they go undefeated ever?, nope. So I am guessing they are not better. Let me guess, I don’t care if they didn’t undefeated, they’re better anyways. Loser.

What team is the GREATEST football team in NFL History? The 2007 New England Patriots, they went 16-0. Doesn’t that suck Josh, after tomorrow night, reality.

    Josh

hey charlie, they have not won the super bowl yet. i am telling you, jacksonville, san diego, or indy, will all get their shots buddy. honestly i want to see jacksonville. until the pats win a super bowl, and you better pray to god they do because i will hunt you down and go on every blog to find you and rub it in. the pats are not the greatest yet. 16-0 is great, but no super bowl, pretty much worthless. do you ever hear about the ’02 seattle mariners ( i think it was 2002) being talked about as the greatest mlb all time with their 116 wins. nope because they did not win the world series, hell they did not even make it there. keep talking homo, oh yeah if you want to see how great the state of texas is in football. espn.com did a story about all the starting qb’s in college football that are playing in bowl games this year. i mean all around the nation. the pats probably going 16-0, but am i praying for your boyfriend to break his neck, you bet i am. just keep talking buddy, we will see.

  107. reply to  #107

    Josh

oh yeah, my DALLAS COWBOYS still have 5 super bowls, to your little patriots 3. also who was the first FRANCHISE to win 3 super bowls in 4 years, oh i believe that was the mighty COWBOYS. the little boys from boston did it AFTER the COWBOYS. dude seriously charlie, you should probably shut your mouth because all you are doing is jinxing your team. the fact that the patriots almost lost to 2 sub .500 teams on the year tells me, that if the good teams like dallas and indy would quit helping you out, that ya’ll are going down. i am telling you, that defense is suspect at best, especially against the run. just remember there are still 4 games (including tonights) left in the year. bye bye chalie, you are going down. oh wait you are gay, so you are already down there.

  108. reply to  #108

    Josh

the patriots may have won charlie, but i tell you what. they are walking the fine line, and they are tip toeing it big time. no way they win the super bowl, one of those big 3 in the afc will take them down. luck does not last forever, and i promise you that your boyfriends luck will run out in a couple of weeks. remember, they can go 16-0, but no super bowl, no one gives a crap. oh yeah don’t forget to wipe your mouth off.

  109. reply to  #109

    charles

Yeah no one gives a crap, give it up loser. The Patriots of 2007 are already legend. A Superbowl only cements there legacy.

  110. reply to  #110

    charles

You show some RESPECT to the greatest team ever assembled. 16-0, remember that Josh. New England will win the Superbowl, who’s going to stop them tell me, not the Titans, cause they will lose tonight. Even if the Titans win tonight, they won’t make it out of the first round.

  111. reply to  #111

How did it make you feel when Moss dropped that pass from Brady, pretty good, didn’t it? How did it make you feel when Brady bombed that touchdown pass to Moss the very next play? It’s not luck when you go 16-0.

charlie, you bore me. your intelligence level is about the same as barry bonds. you obviously know nothing about football. stick with what you know buddy, women’s field hockey. or masturbating to tom brady’s picture. let’s see, two teams that the new england f*gs play that can beat them, that they did not have to play this year. san diego and jacksonville.why you ask because they do something really well that your boyfriends suck at stopping, the run. not to mention, indianapolis. the funny thing is the pats were on the rope like 5 times this year and each time got let back into the game. one of those teams is going to put your boyfriend on his back where he is going to stay, pretty much where he is when he is off the field, with his g*y lovers. you know the funny thing charlie, i never hated the patriots until you showed you g*y *ss on this website running your mouth. you have yet to prove anything in your stupid ramblings, everyone on this website is now dumber for having had to listen to you. i award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul. you want to know how i know you are a texas fan, you actually had to look for this website to talk. do not lie, you wish you were from texas. where the men are men, not from boston, where all you do is cry, and feel sorry for yourselves. i know you are jealous, deal with it though charlie, we will never allow you to come to TEXAS, we do not like wicked retarded people in texas. you might be a good fit in oklahoma, you might have to change from having sex with men, to sheep though buddy. well you might be able to live in college station, but even they have standards there pal, so take care and do us all a favor. slit your throst chief! oh yeah actually i did laugh enormously when brady could not get the ball to moss and he dropped. i am going to laugh even more when that costs them the game, and moss goes off on his cry baby tangent.

  114. reply to  #114

    Josh

oh yeah you obviously give a crap because you keep coming back for more. you know i would absolutely love to meet you. you are probably 40 years old, live with your mom, and gay lover. you probably weigh about 350 lbs, and probably have never seen a woman naked. oh yeah you want to know how i know i am not a loser. because i have done more with my life than you ever will. when you do 2 tours to iraq, come talk to me. and i mean in serious combat zones buddy. while i was in iraq you were probably in an anti-war protest, supporting gay marriages.

  115. reply to  #115

    charles

No, I was in Navy for six years, oops. So go ahead and brag about your tours in Iraq, a real hero doesn’t need to boast. You probably served coffee and did laundry for the officers anyway. Your no different then any other american, so save your Iraq tough guy combat talk for the ladies. Now back to football, did you check out the Vince Young footage I left for you. I wouldn’t look at Vince Young footage, get real. The Titans made it into the playoffs after all, the best part is when they interviewed the player of the game Quarterback Kerry Collins, ha, ha, ha.

  116. reply to  #116

Vince Young was having his way with the Colts STARTING defense last night. The score did not reflect it simply because his team kept fumbling the ball. Jeff Fisher would have put Vince in if the game was ever in doubt, injured or not. In any event, the Cowboys now get a better draft pick in the first round thanks to Vince eliminating the Browns from the playoffs. Step 1, of comment #101 has been completed. See
Tennessee at New England, Saturday, Jan. 12, 8 p.m. ET, (CBS) for the compeletion of Step 2. Boo Yah!

oh charles you are so wrong about me and what i do. i was not telling you to brag, i just wanted to show you how much of a loser you are. i have nothing to prove to you or anyone else. i know what i have done and accomplished. i will no longer fuel the fire due to your ignorance not just in athletics, but in life. good luck in life because with your ignorance you are going to need it.

Guess I was right, you are a reservist. Your right though I don’t know you and I am a better person for this. I do know that the Patriots went 16-0 and would like to send you a free T-shirt. Oh and about the draft picks, that is great Dallas gets a better Draft Pick, but not a better draft pick than New England. Tennesse has to be San Diego first, good luck with that. The reason Vince Young didn’t go back into the game was because the coach realized he had a better chance of winning with Kerry Collins playing.

  120. reply to  #120

    Josh

oh charlie, i am not a reservist. i am active duty navy, don’t you ever forget that either. while you probably spent your time on a ship. i have spent my time running small boats up and down the euphrates river. ever heard of riverine squadron one, look it up. we are all the news for the navy. in fact google josh holder and i bet my name even comes up for because i got interviewed a few times for it. look it up, i can back it up.

  121. reply to  #121

    Josh

there if you want, i can email you pictures to. aside from running those boats, i primarily am a ground guy, a sniper to be fact. if you would like i can send you pictures, you want me to send you my certificate from the army sniper school i went through in fort benning, georgia. i got more than plenty proof to back it up. i have been active duty navy for 5 and a half years, and i am a 2nd class petty officer. what were you a yeoman? so why don’t you do my paperwork and grab me some coffee. if you want a list of all the schools i have been through to, i will gladly send you the list for that.

  122. reply to  #122

    Josh

charlie, google joshua holder riverine squadron one and you will see my name plastered all over google, at the time of the of the interview i was third class. those interviews were almost 2 years ago. you need more proof.? send me your email and i will be happy to send the pictures to you.

now you have beyond pissed me off, now you see that i have nothing to prove to you or anyone else.

    Josh

don’t you ever call me out again charlie because i will make you look like more of a loser than you thought you ever could be. see how wrong i told you are about me. hey charles you know how ignorant you are. do you know how dallas gets a higher draft pick than new england? dallas finishes better than new england, meaning new england would not win the super bowl. that is all great new england is 16-0, but if they do not wind up 19-0 then no one will never care. the funny thing is history is actually against the pats. the ’32 and ’34 bears went undefeated to only to lose the championship games each time. you are by far the biggest loser of all time. i seriously want to know what you did in the navy, you have better been a seal if you want to talk smack, and if you were i want your full name, so that i can check it out.

now that i hopefully have shut charlie up, but i probably haven’t because he does not know how to shut up. even though i have proved him wrong time and time again. any longhorn fans want to talk about football, this basketball season, maybe the upcoming baseball season, or hell even next football season, let’s do that.

I read all the vy comments and I have this to say. vy is a tremendous athlete with great skills ………………… but, he played 2 complete years and should be showing something by now. His mechanics are a little fuzzy and that leads to inaccurate passes. he never needed to set his feet at texas, texas was 85% shotgun. In the pros you need 85% under center. i watch him throw and he doesnt look set to throw. i am sure they are working on his mechanics, maybe he will get it, maybe he wont. the jay cutler comments were mostly correct. after all he was the SEC player if the year. and that conference is pretty tough to survive. his mechanics are very good. he will do fine if he stays healthy. vy has 9 tds in 16 games………..not good. the running game and defense got them to the playoffs. sorry to say it will end in san diego. vy will have and i mean have……….to throw 3 tds to win.

If Vince Young had some average recievers, they would probally go undefeated. As much as everyone wants to make an issue out of his stats, we tend to ignore how many freakin’ passes he throws that bounce off his receivers chests and head gear. This is however not a knock on the Titans, I have witnessed NUMEROUS Longhorn games inwhich Vince won the game all by himself. That’s what makes him great. ‘Nuff said.

All recievers drop passes, but you cant say he has bad recievers, they are pros, hand picked from the best in the world. considering how many recivers are in the world and how many are chosen for the NFL. they are all pretty darn good.

Yeah making me look real silly. Wow a second class petty officer sniper, ooh. Yeah I made second class petty officer, too. So before you shoot your mouth off, know who your talking too, moron. Electrician’s mate second class actually, I learned a real skill. I really don’t care if you have nothing to prove Josh, just don’t think I need to prove the worth of my life to a dumb idiot like yourself. If your so worried about whether your life has meaning or not, talk to a priest. Being a sniper doesn’t mean shi t in life, unless you plan on going around killing people for the rest of your life. Only a real moro n would think that means something. So you can keep running your mouth and certainly I don’t care if I piss you off. You don’t fool me with your war garbage tough guy talk, I served my country the same as any other enlisted member. If your basing the meaning of your life on the fact you were involved in a WAR, two tours right?, then you are truly lost my friend.

Hey Josh, are you really that s tupid, stick to something you know like running the bilge pump on your small boat and cleaning your weapon you never use. Ya know how New England gets a higher draft pick, because we have San Fransico’s dumb a ss.

charlie, i have proved you wrong time and time again. i will admit about the draft, i am sorry i did not keep up to date with the fact that new england has the 49ers first round pick. you know i have a life than to know exactly what draft number the pats have 4 and half months before the draft. better make it a good one since it is the only one they have, mr. spygate. charlie why are, you so mad at me. you jealous, it’s ok i know it must be tough to be from boston. it’s ok buddy, i know it must be hard being an electrician, or probably the assistant. you know the guy who goes out and gets the coffee and has to get the tools and clean the trucks. it’s ok i am sure you want to kill yourself, hell i would if i were you. you know put the shotgun in your mouth and put the toe on the trigger and make the world a better place and us all happy.

just curious charlie, are we going keep doing this? or do you maybe want to stay off of a TEXAS LONGHORNS WEBSITE! dude honestly there is two simple ways for us to stop this. either you shut up, or you stay off of a TEXAS LONGHORNS WEBSITE! i can keep doing this, i am having fun with it. obviously you are the one that is all butt hurt by it. the only time you ever pissed me off was by calling me a reservist, but i shut you up real quick on that one. so here is me being the bigger man. i will call a truce, but you have to stop talking about vy on here. if you cannot stop talking about him i will continue to rag on you and tell you how much of a loser you are.

This is the most intense d*** measuring contest of all time. I appreciate you guys serving our country, but since when did that have anything to do with whose a better person? The bottom line is, Vince has a lot to prove, and is fighting an uphill battle because of the predetermination that a black quarterback will never be able to do anything but run. I agree that he will be a bust. And Josh, how can you argue with 16-0 results? You keep mentioning how big your balls are because Dallas has won 5 super bowls. Who cares? That was 10 years, ago. Worry about the present and not the past bud. Right now, the Red Sox are world series champions… the Celtics have the best record in the NBA… the Patriots are undefeated. It’s all you really need to know.

Jeff, Vince Young is the best quaterback in the nfl. It’s all you really need to know.

  138. reply to  #138

    Jeff

I can never tell if you’re being sarcastic Chris. Vince Young wouldn’t even say he’s the best quarterback in the NFL. I mean, it would take him 4 and a half more seasons at this rate to hit Brady’s TD count this season. So the Titans fans will cry, “Well Tom Brady has better receivers!!!!” Last season, Tom was throwing to the likes of Reche Caldwell and Doug Gabriel and he still had a passer rating almost 20 points higher than Vince’s this year. Not to mention 15 more TD passes. I suppose Vince’s amazing ground performances and touchdowns via the run are what should be impressing me. Don’t look now, but Tom had only 1 less rushing TD than the fantastic athlete Vince Young. So if he’s not really throwing better, and he’s not really running better, what is he doing better Chris?

Yeah, I like how Vince Young single handly crushed the Titans playoff hopes in the first round. Yeah prove me wrong time and time again my a ss. Josh, do your self a favor and shut u p, all your doing is embarassing yourself. Tony Homo, Cry-baby, and Big Mouth. That’s whom Dallas rested there Super Bowl hopes upon and guess what? They aren’t going to the Super Bowl.

Hey Jeff, comparing Vince Young to Tom Brady is a waste of time. Kind of like comparing Josh to a real war hero, not even close. Vince Young will be sitting on the bench before his career totals for touchdowns reaches Bradys’ totals this year.

Been a while, how is Vince Young doing these days? I knew he wouldn’t be starting this season. Oh, and look at Jay Cutler, the real quarterback. Let’s hear some more about Vince Young making the pro bowl(only if he buys a ticket). See ya when Vince Young becomes NFL legend.

    John

Has Vince Young put a bullet in his head yet, I heard he was depressed or something like that? I know he lost his starting job to Kerry Collins, I would probably shoot myself , too. Anyways, I hope he gets better mentally and gets a hell of a lot better as a quarterback. Good luck Vince, put down the pills and pick up the clipboard, Kerry Collins will die of natural causes soon. Maybe you should just still his viagra, then perhaps you can beat him out for the starting job.
