OU Sucks

Well there definitely isn’t as much fanfare going into the Red River Rivalry this weekend with both teams losing last week, but that doesn’t mean we still can’t start some of the trash talking between the schools.

Chance McClain from Sports Radio 610 down in Houston The Houston Chronicle hooked us up last year with some nice OU suckage songs from his band Apollo XVIII. So here are the songs, None Suck Better and OU Sucks. Both equally great. The lyrics to None Suck Better are available after the jump.

Apollo XVIII – None Suck Better

Apollo XVIII – OU Sucks

Apollo XVIII – None Suck Better lyrics:

Paper cuts, lawn darts, silent but deadly farts,
AIDS, Ants, Humidity, John Tesh, Stupidity
Liars, Lies, Lice, Roth
Priapism, Pessimism, The ice monster on Hoth
The Price of Gas, the price of rent…the price is Right, the plague
The Unabomber, Jeffrey Dahmer, sinusitis, Squeaky brakes
Out-of-order ATMS, PMS, MSG,
DUI, Double dippers, Floods, flies, flats, fleas

All of these things they suck it’s true
but none suck more than O.U.

Going bald, halitosis, infomercials, notes with post-its,
Tom Green, earthquakes, Allergies, rats, snakes
Dead beat dads, Celine Dion, car dings, Neon Deon
Fabio, rubberneckers, Taxes, faxes, non sequiturs
404, not found converting Dong to British pounds
Having back hair, being broke, road rage, Religious cults
fraud, crack, warts, Sids, DOS, gnats, war, zits,
Rust, debt, guilt, Spam, Asbestos and dishpan hands

All of these things they suck it’s true
but none suck more than O.U.

Hanson, Charles Manson, Soccer, non-stick pans that stick
Mistaking cooking powdered chocolate when you want a Nestle Quick
Having to work on holidays, hiccups, jock itch, hurricanes
Jihad, the 4th Vacation movie, L R. Hubbard, Nazi’s, pain
Beggars, Bums, and hobos, paparazzi, pop-up ads
Burnt Popcorn, pot holes, propaganda, Botox, bow ties, and boy bands (like New Kidz)
Chiggers, cheaters, beepers, and dry heaving in the can
The spins, and dander and panhandlers, and dandruff, Rather, Dan

Man these songs get me hyped, they arent the best songs, but I like them.

  2. […] Oklahoma (-9.5) @ Texas (ABC 3:30) The Red River Shootout lost some bite after both teams got pimp slapped last week but the hate is still strong. BevoSports provides some good old fashion OU hatin’ by the band Apollo XVIII. Rivalries rule, but will OU hate be enough to compensate for an overhyped INT loving QB? […]

Bench colt, bench charles, bench the O-line and get ride of Greg Davis. We gave up so many sacks that game, charles cant hold on to the ball when running and thrown too, colt holds on to the ball to long and cant hit shipley when he is wide open or quan or sweed, and davis did better this game, but in the 2nd have its like he threw out the play book and got one from a fan.

I looks like all of you longhorn fans have just lost all shit talking rights for one year from this day forward. And you can all say “well Oklahoma gets just about all of their players from the state of Texas” all you want to, but I could care less. And do you all want to know why?? Its because the University of Oklahoma beat the University of Texas. The series is now 57-40-5 and Oklahoma is slowly closing the gap. Oh, and Bradford and Murray are only freshman and to top if all off, Oklahoma loses very few seniors after this season. And you can all backfire at me and say what you feel is necessary because it really doesn’t matter at this point. What matter is that your beloved horns just lost to the Sooners!! Texas sucks! BOOMER SOONER!!

    1. With all that “young talent”, you won by one score.

    2. When the college season is over, have fun rooting for your Pro team. Oh that’s right, you live in a second rate state that cant support an Nfl team. Well, I guess if you get bored you can go to one of your filthy indian-owned casinos and Sam Bradford can deal you some Black Jack.

Wow, you have a lot of class Game Ball Award and you represent the longhorn faithful quite well. Game Ball Award, I want to congradulate you on representing Texas fans well and deepening my hatred for Texas even more. Am I supposed to be offended by “Oh that’s right, you live in a second rate state that cant support an Nfl team?” Is that all you got? Is that the only comeback you can come up with for your horns losing to the Sooners?? And regardless that the Sooners are young, as far as I’m concerned a win is a win. Wouldn’t you agree? “Well, I guess if you get bored you can go to one of your filthy indian-owned casinos and Sam Bradford can deal you some Black Jack. ” Filthy Indian-owned casinos huh? So are you racist towards Native Americans?? It seems and looks that way to me. You represent Texas quite well. BOOMER SOONER!!

If Charles hled on to that ball we would have been up by a score and it would have been a whole different ball game with us having the momentum. Oh and colt mccoy was a freshman last year , and now look at his sophomore year he is sucking, that usually happens to alot of players and I wont be surprised if it happens to Bradford, and last year Colt Blew out ou, and your freshman beat us by a 7, ours killed ya’ll. so yea ya’ll have 2 more years of colt.

The douchebag that posted comment 15! One of your O WHO? buddies was saying how we have 3 more years of Sam Bradford, so I stated that Colt BEAT ya’ll 45-12 and Bradford only beat us 28-21 , and I stated that ya’ll had 2 more years with Colt. At least we can make a good game in a BCS Game instead of getting KILLED by USC in the National Champioship 55-19. Does that bring back some memories?Thats sad.

First off way to show off the awesome okie education you spell congratulate with t, not a d. second off how many of you okie fans participated in that win, did you guys score the touchdowns, did you win it for oklahoma, so what gives you the right to talk shit. all you did was get drunk and yell. were you even at the game. might best bet was that you were sitting on your little couch in your dust bowl drunk, grabbing people’s balls, and are probably over the age of 40. oh and before you try and comeback at me, with what i was doing. i did not even get to watch the game, because i was RUNNING

Dennis Fran. just sold me some inside information, man this is going to help me out alot. And its funny how atm and ou hate each other, but yet they are both cheap and dirty when it comes down to playing football. They probably hate each other cause they want to be the dirtiest teams, but there is some competition.

I am sure this goes without saying, but I just want to remind everyone that being a true Texas fan means not jumping ship when times get tough. The season is not over. “Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!” -John Belushi, Animal House (1978)

Don’t worry so much about Texas. Both of you still play each other. One of you has to lose (i consider both of you losers anyway). By the end of the year both ou and atm will have at least 3 losses! Discuss that for a bit. And as before, Don’t worry so much about Texas!

To I Love The University of Oklahoma (and other non-Texas fans)

First of all, Great job on saturday. You now have bragging rights again. Of course I’m very dissappointed that the Horns lost, but, I am very proud of our PLAYERS. THEY fought long and hard and always had a chance. As for the coaching saff, mainly Davis, I’m very dissapointed.

I love the Horns above all, but, as I have stated before, I love the big twelve as well. It would be great for me, now that Texas has no chance for the BCS Championship, to see a fellow BIG 12er win the championship. Of course I would rather it be someone other than Oklahoma, but if you are there, I’m rooting for ya. BIG 12 gets no respect and now that Texas can’t get it done, hopefully someone else will.

    For we Horns,

After K. State, Davis wanted to take most of the blame, and, rightly so. Kudos to him, but only for a week. He stated that it was because he strayed from the game plan and stopped calling plays he should have kept calling. He said that with Oklahoma, it would be different. He was going to stick to the “Gameplan”. Did he? Big fat no. For 2 series, we started opening things up by getting the tight-ends involved in a big way. That opened up the run, even though slightly, and opend up the deeper pass game, but just for 2 series and then, nothing. Also, Chiles isn’t going to be our “hero” this year, but in the first quarter, he was in on 3 plays, wich didn’t produce anyhting big, but got things moving and had their “D” on their heels. Something was going to open up, but what happened, did Chiles spontaneously combust or something.

Davis is impatient and playcalls to win for about a quarter, then playcalls to keep from losing whether we are up or not.

Last, It’s not Colts fault that three of the best linemen in college football last year went on to the pro’s. Not putting the blame for losses on the “O”line, they are working their butts off and for the lack of experience they have, I’m proud of them, but, if Colt could have the luxury of sitting back for 1 or 2 more seconds, like he had last year, it would be a beautiful thing to watch. If he were Vince Young, or for that matter had some Chiles in him, he wouldn’t need a great “O”line, but HE IS NOT. I believe he is one of the best “classic” quarterbacks and has great talent and feel for the game and can, and WILL lead us to the BCS championship again, but with inexperience at the line, such as we have, the only type of QB that can make a RUN for a championship is just that, a QB that can make a RUN.

To sum up this incredibly long column, which is soo uncharacteristic of me (Ha-ha), the line is getting great experience and will return, the defense is starting to show signs of greatness, especially in the backfield (man I’m impressed by how far they’ve come), special teams fixed there disasterous problems in one week ONE FRIGGIN’ WEEK, and I’m praying to GOD that a tough, very intelligent, gifted leader ex-Longhorn QB is in the near future as offensive coordinater. Come home Major. We need you.

    Hook'Em Horns

Our O-line will be one of the best by next year and the year after, we have so much good talent on that line. same with our D-line and our linebackers, heck our whole defense is loaded and is continuing to be loaded. Our recievers need to work on catching the ball and getting away from the double coverage, specifically Sweed, he is supposed to be our go to guy this year and hasnt proved anything.

I would rather have ou win the BCS game than atm, cause that would make atm look good for once. All that matters now is nebraska, atm, and hopefully we make it to the Big 12 championship game. I havent given up on the Horns neither I think we can still win the big 12 title game and make it to a good bowl.

Has anyone ever tried to start a new tradition for our football game? Cause we need something other than Texas-Fight. over and over again, it gets old. And I dont know if everyone stands up and cheers the whole time like in the upper deck sections, cause it sure dont sound like it, but somehow we need to get our crowd more rowdy and crazy and into the game.

I love the University of Oklahoma

Josh #18, come home safe brother. Now, first of all I will state that I do not play football for the University of Oklahoma. However, I am a fan and as you know, fans talk sh#t. Sh#t talking among fans is what fans do. And yes, I was sitting on my couch watching the game. However, I will say this. I to am a member of the Armed Forces and I am stationed in the beautiful country of Germany. I watched the game on AFN(American Forces Network), with the remote in one hand and a Warfsteiner(a brand of German beer in the other.) So don’t talk your shit son. Now, I must say that your comment “might best bet was that you were sitting on your little couch in your dust bowl drunk, grabbing people’s balls, and are probably over the age of 40” was quite stupid. If you don’t know too much about history, I’ll give you a quick lesson: The dust bowl was a natural disaster that not only hit Oklahoma, but also hit the panhandle of Texas. So, me sitting in my dust bowl really makes no sense at all and thankfully, I have a ways before I hit 40. To Chaves #26 and #27, good post. I also will always root for the Big 12 and if Texas played LSU this year, I wouldn’t mind seeing the horns upset the Tigers because for one I DO NOT like the SEC and two I can’ stand Les Miles. Hell, I couldn’t stand Les Miles when he was at Oklahoma State. I was in a dilemma back in 2006 national championship game because I hate USC and I hate Texas. USC wooped my Sooners in 2005 and Texas is OU’s rival. But, I enjoyed watching Vince Young run all over the Trojan defense and I really enjoyed seeing those cocky SOB’s Leinart, Bush, and Carrol lose in the national championship game. I mean after all, that USC team was supposed to be the greatest team ever. By the way Josh #17, thanks for the spell check. Book’Em Horns, BOOMER SOONER!!

to i love the university of oklahoma #30, sorry about the comment about you being 40 and on your couch. i guess i should have taken into account that you could be serving as well. i guess i just got a little carried away because i had to take my rippings and i really did not want to listen to it this year. you are right fans are always the ones who do this shit talking. a player only spends, so much time with a team before he moves on. fans stick with their teams for a lifetime. as for rooting for big 12 teams, i do root for oklahoma, i did root for them acgains usc, and was actually pretty mad about how they got blown out. the only team i will never root for is colorado even if they played usc, i would root for usc. trust me i hate usc with a passion. if you ever get to attend a cu game you will understand i hate cu so much. once again thanks for prayers. i only got a little bit time left.
