We’ve got tickets for tomorrow’s games, so a Longhorn victory will not only help seal a #2 seed but will mean I didn’t waste $100 bucks.
Hook ’em.
P.J. Tucker and LaMarcus Aldridge make the squad.
With today’s thrashing of Oklahoma the Longhorns finish Big 12 play with a 13 – 3 record and a share of the conference title. Since Texas defeated Kansas head-to-head last week, the Horns will be the number one seed at the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship in Dallas this week.
Huge game from Daniel Gibson which will hopefully spark him heading into the next couple of weeks. When he’s hot from the outside it opens up so much for him and the entire team on offense. Today he hit some early 3’s and was able to drive to the basket and create opportunities for himself and his teammates the rest of the game. Gibson finished with 22 points, 6 assists, and no turnovers.
Brad Buckman also had a solid outing in his last game in Austin. A typical, solid Buckman game with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Fellow senior Kenton Paulino didn’t have a spectacular afternoon, but managed the offense well and played solid defense.
Not a perfect game, but solid defense and good shooting let the Horns pull out early and then cruise to the victory with a solid second half. I wish we could play some tourney games at home, we have been a much worse team on the road this lately.
Moving from A&M to Missouri isn’t job hopping, it’s called climbing the ladder.
The Baseball Analysts take a quick look at the Big 12.
Texas’ starting pitching depth should set them up to make another run this year.
Horns receives 8 of 10 first place votes.
Unless there are major renovations to the Cotton Bowl there will be no extensions.
After the back to back embarassing losses, basketball team is playing much better.
