Austin easily #1. The conference has some good campuses, but most of the cities suck.
Texas’ six signees give them the fifth overall ranked class.
Orangebloods.com is reporting that 4-star Stephenville quarterback Jevan Snead will be in Austin on an official visit Saturday during the Kansas game. Snead is currently a Florida commitment, but with Josh Portis already on campus and the Gators still going hard after Tim Tebow and former Vol Brent Schaeffer reportedly a silent commit, he’s decided to open things back up a little. Texas definitely has a more attractive depth chart.
With good size (6’3″ and 205 pounds) and speed (4.6 forty yard dash), he would fit into the Longhorn’s current offensive scheme nicely. Snead plans on being a Spring enrollee, so expect more news and a final decision soon.

Our Thoughts
Brian – Unfortunately my list looks almost like ESPN’s. That’s disappointing, I hate agreeing with them. Of course, this is pretty much the order I’ve had all season long and they’re just now realizing that Vince Young is the best player in the country. I’m slowly getting on the Brady Quinn bandwagon, his numbers are just too big to ignore. Though if I’m an NFL team I’d be a little worried about his performance at the next level without Charlie Weis.
Matt – We look like clones. Vince is obviously the best player in college football, and it is about time other people are noticing. It is amazing to see how far Vick fell off the map. My main hope is that Leinart and Bush split votes so that Vince has a better shot in NY.
